opfw's asw?

    outpost's compatibility mode disabled asw protection. afaik, outpost's asw protection ain't sufficient. do you recommend having it manually activated? or better go with av's asw protection alone?

    Assuming that you mean Anti-SpyWare, I would say to avoid compatibility issues (one reason OFP disabled it) stick with what you are comfortable with. If you stick with your AV's protection, then leave OFP's ASW disabled. You could also back it up with a product like Spybot Search & Destroy.

    My preference is to use Outpost Security Suite and do away with an AV product.
