operation failed error

    after install eset i cant find any i con in my task bar . then i am try to open from start menu but show this error . This operation has been canceled due to restriction in effected on this computer . please contact your your systems administrator .

    what OS? Are you logged in as Admin? Do you suspect malware on that machine?

    windows XP . and i am stay admin mode . and no malware in my PC. if you need any others information please let me know .

    did you try reinstalling Eset and where did you download it from?

    i can also try to reinstall it . and install again but same . and i whould download it from eset website with my user name and password .

    I'd suggest replacing the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies with one from a clean system.
