Operating memory in Idle Scan ?

When you do a on demand scan, then is the operating memory scanned, and in your logs you will see a message like this: "scanned disks, folders and files, Operating memory,....and so on. When a Idle state scan is performed, (and you have configured it to scan operating memory), then you can only see from the logs, that files and folders is scanned, but nothing about the operating memory. So my question is, are the operating memory scanned under a idle state scan.
