Haven't read the whole article yet, but I wonder how Vivaldi safeguards privacy, why doesn't he ever talk about that? Sounds like a missed opportunity.
I think that "don't understand" and "don't care" feed into each other. If you don't care, then you don't make an effort to understand. And if you don't understand, and see full implications, then you don't see any reason to care. In other words, ignorance is bliss
The thing is, I think Vivaldi can create a lot of buzz if it was more focused on privacy. But every time I start it up, I can see it connecting to certain domain names, including Google. I wonder what's up with that.
