OpenBSD Foundation facing serious financial problems

    I'm a bit torn on this. Supporting obsolete computers (especially desktops) is good in my book, but supporting obsolete architectures like VAX - especially at $20,000 a year - does not seem particularly smart.

    On the other hand, these are the people who maintain OpenSSH, so they'd better be pulling in enough money... I would just hope they use it for the right stuff. Like, stuff other than keeping their VAXen running.

    Although I don't envision myself ever using OpenBSD (last I checked it was pretty complex) I'd rather it stay around so I can have that option. Donated.
