I just installed the trial of Outpost Firewall Pro as my past ZA Pro didnt pass the leak test. When i go on outpost i click on the open ports option on the list on the firewall and it comes up with this : http://img83.exs.cx/img83/4102/poop8fb.jpg Are these open ports something to worry about?
No problem at all my friend . Ports MUST be open in order to communicate . Every computer that is on and connected to the net has open ports . This firewall happens to show you what is open . But , they are stealthed AND protected from intrusion . Hope that helps
hollywood has it right: everything listed is *local* to your PC. From the global WAN or internet, you are stealth.
those two raw socket entries, are they a problem? i know GRC has SocketLock,is that for those two entries?
