    Hey there,

I will soon get my new laptop with i7-8850H, 32GB RAM and 1x NVME SSD (Samsung 970 Pro 1TB).

I plan on installing Arch Linux again and this time also wanted to encrypt my drive.

Opal 2 seems to be the smartest option in terms of CPU/Battery usage. I just wonder how secure and trustworthy it is?
I would probably use sedutils for the encryption.
