Online Armor's FREE cloudscan is under 1mb (downloads in seconds) and does a quick scan of your computer to detect malware traces using a cut-down version of the signature database that is contained in Online Armor ++. This quick scan can give an indication if your computer is infected with Malware, spyware or other unwanted parasites

Is this essentially the same as the Emsi sigs used in the Hitman Pro scan? Or is it different somehow?

It scans differently, on every file instead of just suspicious ones.

Anyone tried it yet? I wonder how the scan speed compares with Hitman Pro? I often use HMP because the scan is very fast.

Last time I used malaware it took about 1,5 min to complete. It only scans active processes and some critical areas afaik.

Obviously the area it reads are different compared to deeper scans, and probably detection/cleaning procedure as well.

You have to download a new version every day but it's only 1.3 MB :)
