Hello, I have configured my NOD32 v2,5 so that it scan my HD and it tells me if there are viruses. Then I have to make another scan to delete those viruses.
I'd like configure my NOD32 so that it doesn't tell me only if there are viruses but every time it has to tell me if I like to disinfect or delete them at once.
Can you tell me how can I configure it?
Have I to make an esecution of an external application?
    WhaI have to make precisely?
    thanks

I have already configured my NOD32 with extra settings. I'm sorry for my bad english, perhaps you have not understood my question.
I like that my NOD32 scans my HD and at the same time it asks me if I like to disinfect or delete that infect file.
    thanks

does it matter if i run the on-demand scan with SCAN or CLEAN? and does nod32 warn about viruses the moment it scans or all of the malware at once after the scan finishes?

I'm sorry but you don't understand again.
I don't succeed in explaining well.
    For example:
at 18 o'clock when my NOD32 scans my HD automatically, when it finds a virus I'd like that NOD32 asks me if I want disinfect or delete it.

In post number 77 change your switches to the following:

    C:\ /adware /ah /all /arch+ /heur+ /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /prompt /quarantine /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /scanmem+ /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /wrap+

This will stop the scan every time an infection is found and prompt you for an action.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

I have pasted (NOD32 Kernel -Execution of an external application)
    "C:\ /adware /ah /all /arch+ /heur+ /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /prompt /quarantine /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /scanmem+ /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /wrap+"
Yes it works fine but when it scans my HD I see it scans 87583 files only.
Why please? I'd like it scans more files like in "Run NOD32" mode.
    Thanks.

    Try this:

    "C:\ /adware /ah /all /arch+ /heur+ /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /cleanmode /prompt /quarantine /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /scanmem+ /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /wrap+"

OK, thanks. I will try but I'd like to tell you my NOD32 is configured with:
    "C:\ /adware /ah /all /arch+ /heur+ /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /prompt /quarantine /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /scanmem+ /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /wrap+"

If I will add cleanmode I think my NOD32 will scans the same number of files.
    Do I make a mistake?

/all scans "all files", regardless of extension. There are no more files to be scanned.

    Cheers :D

    BlackSpear,

this begs the question why it reports a lower number of files in an external scheduled task, than an interactive scan. Or perhaps someone from Eset can chime in - does an interactive scan ignore unchanged files that are not re-scanned during a scheduled scan?

    regards

    Greg

    /adware /ah /all /arch+

these are called "switches" - because they "switch on" or "switch off" certain features when you use them.

    regards

G'day Greg, I asked the question of Eset, to which the reply came back, the following is the nastiest scan available ;) :D

    C:\ /adware /ah /all /arch+ /clean /cleanmode /delete /heur+ /log+ /mailbox+ /pack+ /quarantine /scanboot+ /scanmbr+ /scanmem+ /scroll+ /sfx+ /unsafe /wrap+

    Cheers :D
