One-click/Remote installer file size?

Hi all,
We're currently using Kaspersky Business place (about 500 users) and while we're generally happy with it, there is one annoyance.

The installer package for it that we can create for sending to remote staff is 455MB for the current version 10. Even when we don't include several of the optional features when we make the installer, it doesn't affect the file size.

A lot of our remote staff are in 3rd world countries and have very poor internet. 455MB, even if we RAR it into a 10 piece package, is a tough prospect for them.

Can anyone tell me the rough size of the current version of ESET Endpoint Security? This would need to be with the license key built in (assuming Eset can do this) and have it automatically be pointing to our administration server.

The default installer size for Eset Endpoint Security 5.0 is 70.1MB. It is 64.1MB for Eset Endpoint Antivirus 5.0. I can't see that the size would change much after being packaged. However, if you're sending to people on a slow connection, you would probably just send the installer file along with a cfg.xml file. The cfg.xml file would contain all of the necessary settings to setup the installation the way you want (I.E., Report back to the admin server, where to get definition updates, etc...) You can configure the cfg.xml file via the Eset Configuration Editor (installed with the ERA Admin Console).

The evaluation license can be issued for any and all protection products.

 

The Remote-Installer Package for ESET is about 300 kb, but it will download the nesseary files from server after launch.
