What do you mean exactly? Was it a normal incoming Instant Message in MSN Messenger, or was it a popup spam message? Can you tell us more about it - what it said - looked like?

Guess I swear I never allow anyone to see me online .....not without my permission. That much I saw the pop up was from my temp folder attempting to connect onto net. I ran " Internet Sweeper" right away.

    hey krusty,

All i can say is probably is, scan your computer with an AV and AT. If you don't already have a firewall might wana get one of those too. Change your password... 8 bit character or more for ur msn messenger. And deleted all your porno cache/cookies or whatever is junk files, and you should be ok.

I joined this community about 2 years ago, because of your advanced knowledge. I have all the best protection available.....no naughty links neither files on my puter. I have done everything Steve Gibson teaches on his sites. There is still one hole in this system: friends all over the world, those who doesn´t care, my contact names are listed on their messengers and email contact lists. I share all my knowledge with my friends. Still something unexpected happens. What else could I do ...unplug my puter out of wall I guess...

    regards -Ari

My point is that possible one of my online friend got a virus and started spreading it´s nasty production itself .

It might be kinda that, but it was msn messenger pop up alert though.
Let´s see if other users are receiving the phenomena. I changed my msn passport. As far as I know all of msn stuff can be hacked and infected
I might better tell no one of my contacts were online when it happened.
