Older Malware?

    Ok let's say that webroot detected a piece of malware would it always have it in it's database?

    Difficult to be certain.
    Some malware has a 'use by date' so keeping it in the database is an option but eventually the size of the base could be infinite.
    So, do you test for obsolete viruses:doubt:

    Yes. It does keep it.

    Since the processing is done by the cloud, it doesn't have to forget old stuff so it doesn't wipe out your computer.
