Ok let's say that webroot detected a piece of malware would it always have it in it's database? Thanks,Austin
Difficult to be certain. Some malware has a 'use by date' so keeping it in the database is an option but eventually the size of the base could be infinite. So, do you test for obsolete viruses
Yes. It does keep it. Since the processing is done by the cloud, it doesn't have to forget old stuff so it doesn't wipe out your computer.
