With the wonderful help of Blackspear and the kind technicians from my favorite techie website, aumha.org, and mozilla forums...my computer is up and running fine. Now I'm ready to invest in a paid version of Nod32. How do I upgrade to the paid version without disturbing the detailed settings suggested by Blackspear when I initially installed the free version. I'm sure the answer is somewhere in this forum, but I need to be pointed in the right direction. My guess is this ain't going to be easy. Where do I begin?

    Nancy ;)

obviously you need to get your username/password by purchasing from a reseller or distributor in your local part of the world.

All you really need to do is purchase a licence at www.eset.com.

They will email you a user name and password.

The only thing left to do is simply put them in the proper locations within the NOD32 control center. Open the control center and select the update option and then select setup, enter username and password.

    Your done.

    Enjoy.

Not when you are running the Trial (30 day free) version as the thread maker has indicated, you will need to follow the instructions I have given above for conversion.

    Cheers :D

Sorry Black Spear, I was unaware there was any real differance. I have always downloaded from the purchased software link. I usually have a un and pw ahead of time.

No worries, the only difference is the Trial has to be converted after purchase, and Trial users may have delays in updates when the servers are under pressure.

    Cheers :D
