    Hi,
I'm working on a major NOD32 Enterprise Edition deploy, with remote sites that have very slow netwok connections to my main office. I've got my packages created on the server and my xml files tailored for each remote site. Is there a way to deploy a big .EXE file (or whatever) to a remote server where the users can run the installation in silent mode with those xml files, without installing a RAS on each location? My idea is to prevent each deploy from downloading the 10MB installation package through my links.
    Regards,
    Kepler

you can run a 2nd RAS/Mirror etc in the remote location.

Yes, I know... but I wanted to avoid the installation of multiple servers & replication... NOD32 updates are small enough to go through my links, so all the computers will be reporting to just one central server, and I might have some lanupdate clients where the comlink is TOO slow.

You can add your nod32.xml to the selfexecutables provided by Eset.

You also can extract the selfexecutable, add your config and build a new one with some of these options:

You can take Winrar/Winzip to build selfexecutable archives...

But pay attention, IMON options which you set in your nod32.xml aren't taken over. didn't know if eset already fixed this bug

    Regards
