My final version just autoupdated :)
It should be released out for update within the next few days to existing users, but users can manually download the upgraded version from:
    http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp or http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=prevxcsi64 if on a 64bit OS.

The changelog over the previous live build, .171, is:

    Changelog:
    - (P30) Finished agent integration with the new global architecture to widen the protection of Prevx across several countries
    - (PSO) Added browser tab support for Opera 10.60
    - (PSO) Fixed an issue with the "Find on this page" feature in IE8
    - (P30) Fixed an issue handling some legitimate global policies on installation
    - (P3E) Improved Enterprise quarantine integration
    - (PSO) Fixed an incompatibility with Trusteer Rapport
    - (PSO) Fixed some logic issues with automatic credential protection

Auto-updated OK for me as long as I logged in as Administrator first (Hint hint :D )

Regarding the compatibility with Trusteer Rapport, can I really run these together "out of the box" or would I need to lower some of the protection in Rapport. Or should I not bother with Rapport because PSO does the same and more? I feel I'm pretty bullet proof (see signature) but my bank website is nagging me to install Rapport.

You don't need it as SafeOnline does more like you said and see the latest test by MRG: -http://malwareresearchgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/Online-Banking-Browser-Security-Project-June-201010.zip- de-linked but just copy and past without the dashes at each end!

It's like it uninstalled itself after auto updating. The program file folder for prevx was completely empty

All the shortcuts were screwed, even in the add/remove section

So i installed a copy of facebook safeonline i had lying around and this is all it shows in the program files folder. All the shortcuts are still missing.

Safeonline is running though - even after rebooting :D

Well - it loaded after rebooting and is running. And it did complete a quick scan. However, i have no way to uninstall it. Nothing in the start menu, program files folder or add/remove programs for that matter.

I think joe is getting me back for stickin with Iron chrome :D

    Question:
I see two instances of prevx.exe in Task manager.
    Normal?

    TIA,
    François

    EH TH! Thanks.

Now while that took care of that problem, i'm back to the trial version of safeonline and not the free facebook version. I've tried running it to add it but still says trial version.

OK uninstall again and download a clean installer from here: http://www.prevx.com/safebook.asp and we will see if that fixes it if not Joe will fix you up! ;)

You should be able to reinstall the Facebook version directly if you uninstall your existing version but let me know if it doesn't upgrade properly and I'll take a closer look :)

Well, after several reboots last evening and safeonline still showing as a trial, i gave up and went to sleep. And i guess safeonline was just tired too because after firin up the rig this morning, no more trial :D

So the question is: Why did Prevx uninstall itself rendering all shortcuts useless?? Does prevx uninstall previous versions every time it auto updateso_O ?
