Office XP Pro aka Office 2002?

A friend has Office 2002 installed but don't know where the CDs are and the OS needs to be reinstalled bad hard drive, and I have Office 2003, and Office XP Pro

Will the docs from Office 2002 be compatible with office 2003?

in a word yes. in fact 2003 docs are backwards compatible with 2002 as long as you don't start doing fancy stuff and using complex features of 2003. same goes for 2007. it keeps the cd files on the hard disk when you do a full install. it always good practice to copy the cab files to hard drive.
