I have licenced Office 2007 installed. My cousin want to check Office Pro Plus 2013 for Lync for few days. I want to uninstall 2007 & install 2013. As I read there appears quite a few probs with both installed. Will there be any prob reinstalling 2007 after I uninstall 2013 trial? And what is standalone Lync Server? Is it exactly the same Lync in 2013 office? Will this standalone Lync server work fine with 2007 office installed?

For avoid some conflicts, you totally reason about using just one version on the same OS. My advice to skip re install bug is to uninstall each version with specific Fix-it by M$ (so all leftover registry key, files and folders will be deleted).
