Office 2013 licenses can now be transferred to new PCs

    I didn't either. I didn't think they listened to anybody. This is good. It shows that they do want some customers.

    i was not sure if it was true but i was told this by a contact at ms a little over a week ago that it was changing. didnt want to post any info anywhere just in case though. im glad they changed the terms. there are MANY people who i have as clients who will now PAY to upgrade to 2013.....

    I don't know what they were thinking to begin with. The risk of alienating a huge customer base wasn't and isn't worth the very small, temporary roadblock to pirates distributing Office 2013. Hardware breaks, PCs get upgraded and replaced, it was a stupid, stupid move. MS is making a lot of those lately.
