Office 2010 proxy settings

    Does anybody know how to setup Office 2010 to connect via a proxy? I have setup IE to connect via proxy but Office 2010 still connects directly. Thanks for your help.

    I think office 2010 gets its proxy settings from I.E
    I use proxy at work, I.E has the proxy settings in, and I have not had to put anything in Office 2010 apps for them to connect correctly to the internet.

    that's what I thought too, but I checked and IE would not connect to internet if my proxy client is not running but outlook 2010 would still be able to connect ... so that means it is not using the proxy settings in IE, also I double check on wireshark and outlook is connecting directly.
