I decided to change the NTFs cluster size to 16k and 32k respectively for the new hard drive partitions under Win xp disc management since I couldn't find out if TI8 would let me do that during the restore process.

Will it offer me those options during the restore process?

Will it wipe out the cluster size and make it the standard 4k during the restore process?
The image is a 64k cluster size if that makes a difference.

    Hello Bill,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Please note that Acronis True Image will analyze your destination disk and partitions you want to create before the actual process starts. The properly cluster sizes for each partition will be set automatically.

However if you wish to set cluster size manually you may use Acronis Disk director Suite 9.0 (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/). To perform the operation please right click on the desired partition, choose "Advanced" -> "Change Cluster Size", choose the necessary cluster size and press "Ok". After that please press "Operations" -> "Commit" for the process to start.

    Thank you.
