Not reconising my hard disk

I am using SATA hard drive in my PC the backup of the hard drive(C drive) works well and i am storing on my Firewire drive.
When i try to restore the PC boots ok into Acronis software but it does not reconise my hard drive in the PC only the external firewire drive is listed i therefore cant restore the image to my C drive.
Any help would be aprieciated.

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.
