NoScript has other files in the Profile folder with this number "{73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232}", but the one that it uses for settings is.....storage-sync.sqlite. I tested that file, doing different things with it, over and over :).

Wow seems like this addon has come a long way. Wish it was there for Chrome as I moved away from Firefox a number of years ago.

OK. I have a NoScript storage file under Number {73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232} that the timestamp is from Nov 2017, before NoScript 10 was released. That number has identified NoScript for many years.

    So, ... %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7v4jzh9r.Default User\browser-extension-data\{73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232}\storage.js ... is NoScript* secret stored stuff? ;)

    I have Direct Access ... %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7v4jzh9r.Default User\browser-extension-data\scriptsafe@protonmail.com\storage.js ... for ScriptSafe settings.

If you want to save NoScript 10 data out of the sandbox, you need to allow access to storage-sync.sqlite, nothing else.

In December, a friend at the SBIE forum asked me for help figuring out where ScriptSafe saved settings, and I found it saves settings in file you mentioned.

bjm, I found an old picture I posted a couple years ago where you can see the Untrusted portion of the menu that used to open up when you hovered the browser over Untrusted.

    Not, using Untrusted. Just me.

.....doubleclick.net is the kind of domain you want to black list.

Let me show you something, I took this picture a few hours ago for you. Here where I live I get American football in TV but the guys doing the games do it in Spanish. I love Spanish but I know football better than the guys doing the games so I rather stream games in the computer than watch them on TV. By doing so I get the original broadcast. The website I have been using for the last 4 years died this week. So, I had to find a new site, and found one. What you see below is what the new site looked after temporarily allowing the site a couple of times.

The reason I took the picture is I wanted to show you how easy it becomes figuring NEW websites out when you harvest and maintain a black list based on your personal use of the web. Look at all the domains that were automatically blacklisted when I opened the new website with the game playing after clicking Temporarily allow a couple of times. After 5 minutes, I had gotten rid of a couple of domains that were not needed for the game to play that are shown as Temporarily trusted in the picture and blacklisted the rest of domains with names that tell you that they wont be needed for anything. Done and easy.

    Sin título.jpg

Look at this other picture. From the same website but using another channel to watch the same game. If you look carefully, some of the black listed domains are the same. After I took the picture, I was able to restrict it even more. I ended up only having to allow 2 domains to watch the broadcast via this channel

In my case, if I visit Firefox addons, NoScript menu shows it blocks 7, not one like in your picture. Probably the reason for the difference is because you left in place the white list that comes by default when you install NoScript. That list includes a few Mozilla domains. On the other hand, I delete the white list that comes with NoScript.

Yes, it is normal when you visit webpages from Mozilla for Options to open when you click NoScript icon.

From Mozilla, the only domain I Whitelist is mozilla.org.
Thats what you want. Take your time building your blacklist. Make it a game, start with websites that are in your bookmarks. When you finish with it, you ll be on your way.

I ran NoScript 5 without Direct Access. Just my Whitelist (as you know).
So, now I have to re-think my NoScript relationship with Direct Access.
    Thanks

Edit: do I need black and red for Untrusted?

For direct access, you allow Firefox access to storage-sync.sqlite

Red takes care of red and black.

Yes, I've added Direct Access \storage-sync.sqlite.
Ah! Red takes care of red and black. Okay, don't need black ?.
    doubleclick black red.png
    Okay, fixed.

    Thanks
