    Well there may be some reasons for them to remove the custom scanning.Let's find out.

    What's the point of buying something that replaces my existing setup? Not to mention I don't like paying for something that I can beat for free.

    i didn't like the tool in the first place :cautious:

    Norton Ban my country so for that i have to download it from a proxy server :cautious:

    Already didnt like NPE simply because after uninstalling it you still cant delete folders its created without them coming back. Its a virus in itself. :rolleyes:

    Found it, a dumb inactive OS scan. A far cry from custom scanning.

    Still won't be satisfied until it restores custom scan. I thought it's a techie tool, not for newbies.

    I found NPE folders in ProgramData and AppData\Local. Not sure if they get re-created, but it's not as portable as I thought.

    Why do you feel the custom scan option is important? The main reason I use the custom or quick scan options in antimalware products is full scans often take too long - NPE is so fast that's not an issue.
