Norton IS 2007 really that good?

    I see that Norton IS 2007 more often is getting really good reviews. Almost everywhere I see a review of this they are voted best. Are they really that good?
    I tried 2006 some time and it really ****ed up my pc. I must say 2007 works quit and fast. But are their detection rates on viruses and spyware better that Kaspersky, NOD32, AVIRA and AVK?

    I'm curious about your opninion.

    well i dont know ive heard good things about it but i still wouldnt use it.
    but companies can change.
    just try spysweeper 5.3 after you have tryed 5.0 and 5.2. webroot finaly listned and now 5,3 is great and works.
