    Is Insight really an "industry first", as claimed by Symantec? Or is Kaspersky iClean? This is a wikipedia dispute.

    im not sure, but these days nobody is a first, theres always someone who has done something before.

    Hmm I'm not too sure about this one...iswift hasn't got anything to do with "good" files or files but HIPS in KIS v2009 does use digital signatures and a whitelist database to judge which files should be restricted/scanned and which aren't.

    I believe the strings attached are:

    a) first in consumer market
    b) first to leverage data from other computers

    Many ideas get implemented eventually from vendor to vendor. It's where marketing comes into play.
