    Quotes from the Readme file:

    ========================================
    1. List of changes in Norton Ghost 2003 Update 3
    ========================================

    Improved Disk Drive Overlay (DDO) support
    -----------------------------------------
    Support for users with Disk Drive Overlays has been improved in
    this release. If you are using Norton Ghost 2003 from a boot disk,
    and your hard drive came with a DDO loading disk, we still
    recommend that you use this to load the DDO before using Ghost.

    Restoring NTFS images with very fragmented or compressed files
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    A fix is included for the problem of corrupted MFT when you
    restore NTFS images with very fragmented or compressed files.
    This includes the -ntexact command-line switch. See Section 6,
    Additional switches.

    Updated Linux boot loader support
    ---------------------------------
    The Linux boot loader support has been updated to support newer
    versions of LILO, and to support GRUB.

    Location of virtual partition
    -----------------------------
    The virtual partition cannot be located beyond the accessible
    section of the HD, which could prevent an older machine from starting
    the operating system in some cases.

    On a strictly personal note:

    Alas, I'm in no way an expert on Ghost; far from that o_O :rolleyes:
    To be frankly: I simply have to admit that I've hardly been able to use it :oops:
    That could very well have been caused by lack of knowledge on my side (!!!), or maybe by a very old, cheap SCSI-card on my W98SE system.... :oops:

    Anyhow, I know very well that there are lots and lots of users of Ghost who are very happy with it !!!
    That's why I wanted to post this update ;)

    Does this new update mean that I need to make a new boot disk or will the old one still work OK and be able to take advantage of the new features. Sorry I'm not an expert on Ghost but I do use it and like it.

    Hi Stevie,

    Alas, I'm in no way an expert on Ghost :oops:
    But you might read some postings at that thread at DSLR:

    There was something written about your question there ;)
