We have noticed a few times when turning off our notebook we have seen a small notice, something to the effect: "closing down ccapp. Do not stop or you will lose information." In a second or two box disappears and pc turns off.
Someone said this had something to do with our Norton AV 2004.
We also notice when we run MSCONFIG and look in Startup, there is a check mark next to C:\Program Files\ Common Files \ Symantec Shared \ ccApp.exe"

#1- Can that be UNCHECKED? Or must it remain checked?
#2- And should we just forget about the "closing down ccapp......" that we see sometimes when turning off the notebook?
