Went to a LAN party over this past weekend and NAV seemed as light as Avira, but it's much less annoying.

 

I haven't paid a cent for Norton for the past four years! (Perfectly legal, too!)

For those in the USA, please keep in mind that many AV deals are posted daily at http://www.fatwallet.com/c/18/ (Fatwallet Hot Deals Forums).

For most people too lazy to read it every day, simply wait until a few months before tax returns are due, then go to Office Depot or Staples, where they usually go for free after rebate when you buy a tax preparation software. (And usually, a handful of other titles as well that are FAR.)

If you don't buy tax software, then these two usually have deals throughout the year around holidays (New years, Easter, etc) where the AV software is FAR.

Fry's Electronics also often has them going FAR as well in CA, often with Norton Ghost, etc as a bundle.

thank you , i already have the key from internet company coz they give me norton internet security 2011 key and they tell me its will work for ever lifetime , i think i will give nis try and i will see if its light on my computer now or same before , coz before really its make my computer slow and eat the memory of the pc , i wish they fix it now.
