Not very attractive but since I wouldn't use it anyway I guess it doesn't much matter.

I agree the GUI could use some different colors other than mustard yellow.

But if it is anything like the last version, I would use it. Currently Norton makes some of the best AV software out there.

Norton always changes the final graphics prior to release. I am sure these are just placeholders.

But you are right, those are UGLY.

I'm not talking for Steve here; however, what if I tell you that Wilderssecurity especially, during the weekend is some sort of relaxation that provides me an evasion mode from my pressure-cooker kind of life. Would you believe me? :'(.

    Thanks. :ninja:.

If it's anything like the last 360 and NIS betas the final will likely look very much the same. A pretty GUI or a product that performs well? With a company that has the resources Symantec has, I expect both. Presentation is part of the overall package. If 2 products are similar in function and 1 is more visually appealing, guess which one gets paid for? As for the get a life comment, do you really think anyone here has one!? :D None of the regulars anyway. :(

Its interface may not be pretty, but the product inside is excellent, and that's what matters most.

Oh, right, why don't we talk about the product? LOL! Personally I've never found N360 appealing. The menu organization isn't as intuitive as Norton Internet Security (NIS). The only significant difference is the online backup and they only include 2gigs as part of the base price. A year or two ago offering 2gigs for free was competitive, but now with Skydrive, Google Music, Amazon Cloud Drive, etc, it's not. Last (but not least) is the fact that N360 has consistently lagged behind NIS in protection technology - they develop it first for NIS and port it to N360 later. I do much better in terms of cost and protection by using NIS and handling backups with other services.

Anyway, it's still a good product. Maybe you do not feel attracted by the backup and interface, but for other people is interesting. Only a matter of point of view. I stand with NIS 2012, I think cleaner and simpler. But the N360 is far from bad.
