Two years in, here we are. This be a long-term review of the Nokia X10 smartphone, with results after two years of extensive use, including damage to case buttons and rapidly draining battery, general value for money, system upgrades and patching, software usability, network connectivity, camera and audio quality, performance, battery life before the recent symptoms, various niggles, other observations, and more. Take a look. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/nokia-x10-report.html Cheers, Mrk
Not only Nokias. Everything decreased in quality, including food. Unless you pay premium, including food.
The smartphone world is awash with choices, which are usually made because of financial restrictions. I went to the "dark side" some time ago, but, as my very old iPhone 8 will no longer receive updates it's time for a change. When I looked at the Android options it soon become very clear - IMHO - that the choice was really very easy. My mobile phone usage is almost entirely limited to sms and calls - no You Tube, Email or whatever Tick Tock is. I have therefore selected the Pixel 7a as my replacement. Now nearly 6 months old, and with the new Pixel 8 release, the price is becoming very competitive. I also found that it ticks all the boxes, especially the most important ones - speed of Security and OS updates.
