Nokia: The Story of the Once-Legendary Phone Maker Gone but Not Finnished September 27, 2021 https://www.techspot.com/article/2236-nokia/
I like their phones. They are among the first in supplying users with any security or firmware updates. Not the mass producer they were, but still produce an excellent product. https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/what-is-android-one/
I still hate Microsoft for buying them and ending pretty much everything they once were. Even the early Windows phones were great. The later ones were junk. My old Lumia 920 was probably my favorite phone of all time. The 1520 was junk. Had to warranty the first one and the second one wasn't working correctly when I got rid of it. As a name sold to another country making Android phones? Nothing compelling there, others do it better.
I bought the Nokia 6300 4G because I needed a dumb-phone and it kinda sucks. It takes 30 seconds to start and has a bad interface, it's a nightmare trying to open SMS messages. So no more Nokia phones for me.
I have a Nokia 5.3, as I insist on Android One - no bloatware. Their upgrade to Android 11 was much delayed though, to the dissatisfaction of users. Not sure why HMD Global sometimes battle with upgrades for some models.
