Nokia is really focusing on Windows Phone !
As far as I can tell the teams involved in developing Windows Phones have been left pretty much alone.

Really these Lumia deserve to be doing better than they are.

Nokia becomes riskier partner for Microsoft (Edited per request)
Software giant’s mobile partner is sinking, posing a challenge

    Article

The article gives the opinion that Microsoft would be crazy to merge with Nokia.

Absolutely a matter of opinion, but I think so. The phone seems about bulletproof and the OS is way better organized. The screen on this particular phone is the best I have seen. Some people gripe about the resolution but I have no complaints. You could not pay me to go back.

Im really curious about it that is for sure. How is call quality and reception on it? I know you came from Verizon (as would I) but just recently moved and VZW is not cutting it. Looked up coverage last night and ATT (according to their website) has better coverage then VZW.

I read in an Engadget review notifications are not that good. That would be a bummer as I rely on them on my Gnex and Razr MAXX. How is that going for you? I know its also only single core CPU vs. my dual core CPU's on my current devices. How do they compare?

Thanks a lot Jack. You can PM me if you don't want to muck up this thread.

    Cheers.

I would forget OS features at the moment and stick to considering if you like the phone hardware specs/looks/screen/etc. With the WP8 announcement next week we could see the removal and/or addition of any software features really.
