    Hi

I've just had my first action in OE since purchasing Nod32. Actually it was on my wifes side -- 2 emails came in with the virus name (Mydoom.R) included in the subject box of the email. The message body was tagged - nod could not clean so it was deleted (as I set it to do)

Just wanted to confirm that this is normal behaviour. There wasn't an AV activity pop-up box as I was used to with Norton.

so I guess that's it -- job done

Nod sure is quiet.. humble.. or shy

    Thanks,
    It works! It works!

I actually waited until it caught one virus before I purchased Nod. I think they were trojan components??- that would come from a web site. And it was something that Norton kept missing. I'd only know about it by doing a Trend Micro housecall. But the Nod trial caught it - and helped me put all the pieces together -- it had the same file destination -- and then I knew which site was the culprit..

anyway during the period of my Nod trial and a few months into my purchase, things have been soooo.. quiet. I began to wonder.

Nod is the ever so silent but vigilant Security Guard, it never complains, just stands watch keeping that nasties at bay, all day every day ;) :D

There are 4 different file sizes, therefore 4 files (guessing)

There is a slight bug in Nod32, in that if you tick Quarantine in both panels it Quarantines twice. It has been reported to Eset.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D
