NOD32 warning on Avast site [fixed]

I wanted to post Avast defs update info here at the Update Alert forum at Wilders. To get the latest info I go to hxxp://www.avast.com/virus-update-history
My NOD32 AV is blocking it.
    What is happening?

Maybe later more. Have to check logs etc etc.

Looks like a False Positive, according to VirusTotal, since ESET is the only one.

    Thanks JR !
I wanted to get the info about the warning posted asap and didn't even have the time to look further at it.
ESET has to look at it most definitely !

    Thanks again !

NOD32 database version 9009 is still giving a warning on my system (XP-home SP3). I know that a good friend has already informed ESET; I will try to do the same.

Good news: it will be fixed very soon :)

Within minutes (only minutes!!) after I had sent a message to Marcos, he replied to me that it was indeed a FP and that it will be fixed.

Thank you, Marcos :thumb: really very much appreciated :thumb:

Re: NOD32 warning on Avast site [fixed]

    Hi Gerard,

The issue has been fixed with database update 9010.

About the NOD32 "engine" update .26 there is more info about that at:
"Version 7.0.302.26 Released ... What is it?"
    https://forum.eset.com/topic/1231-version-7030226-released-what-is-it/

    Note by me:
I still have the months ago mentioned issue with the new Eset forum.

Anyway, I too got that .26 version but it is not related to this FP.

For those that may have not been aware, how to submit virus samples, nasty websites you may have encountered or, false positives to: ESET's Lab.

The current virus signature definition (VSD) is at 9010, at the time of this writing.
