Is NOD32 2.7 detection rate the same as ESET NOD32 V3 and ESET NOD32 V4?

What wasn't answered, if you find that thread was the qeustion: WHY?

If the definitions and the Heuristics are the same then how come the detection is better?

    Better unPackers?
If so then it should detect when the malware runs in memory, since at that time it's unpacked.

    Better system hooks?
Well that would help in cleanup but again, once the malware loads into memory and assuming that Heuristics and Defs are the same between all version then again it should be detected no matter what version you using.

So why is the detection better?
