NOD32 Ver 3.0

Hello

Is the NOD32 ver3.0 is an official release? I am using 2.7 for quite some time now, and I would like to upgrade it to ver3.0, but unfortunally I could not find anything in the Eset website. I found a thread in this forum which pointed to a linnk in Majorgeeks. If I downoad that file/ installer from this third party site, then:

1. Will I able to get regular updates as I am getting presently with ver 2.7?
2. Do I need to uninstall ver 2.7 to install ver 3.0 (provided the above answer is yes)?
3. Does this new version include a Firewall?

Please advise.

I understand your point, but please understand as I could not assure myself about the three doubts I expressed above I had to start a new thread.

Could you plese clear my doubts?

Updating will be exactly the same and I have always done a clean install with a new version, but it should not be needed as an upgrade will be done when the release is there.
There's no firewall in the Nod32 AV, you'll need the ESS (Eset SecuritySuite).

After uninstalling your current AV, also a restart is important.

 

release date isn´t similar in world, in slovakia was release date and start of selling 1.11.2007
