NOD32 v4 still a Beta?

    I downloaded v4 of the antivirus but have yet to install in place of v3.0.672. I've been reading the threads about problems with BSOD, slow Internet connections, etc.. Is v4 a Beta or is it a final / full release? I ask because I'm not sure I have the time or especially the talent to deal with problems? Thanks.

    Hello,

    ESET NOD32 Antivirus and ESET Smart Security v4.0 came out of the Beta stage when the final release of these two products were released on March 2. Since it is still a new release, there will be bugs in it. However fixes to the bugs will be released into new builds of v4.0. There's already been one build on March 31st which fixed some of these bugs. If you're happy with v3 then you can stick with it until you feel that the majority of the bugs have been successfully worked out.

    Mark made an excellent proposition, abandon buggy v4.0 and stick with v3.:p
