I kept getting a NOD32 page fault error when running an On Demand scan of SpyBot S&D 1.6.2.

I uninstalled SpyBot S&D 1.6.2 and the problem went away.

This evening I got the same page fault error message when I downloaded a fresh copy of SpyBot from their website. The message popped up as soon as the DL was complete.

I installed the latest NOD32 V 2.7 update this morning.

Is this a NOD32 or a SpyBot problem?

    Chas.

    Hi verktyg,

I download it with 2.7 installed and I get no errors at all. It wasn't installed is that correct?

    BFG,

    SpyBot wasn't installed.

When it was installed Nod32 V 2.7 would error out when it hit the SpyBot folder when running an On Demand scan also when just scanning the SpyBot folder.

Last night I DL a fresh copy of SpyBot 1.6.2 from their website. The NOD32 full time scanner caused almost the same page fault error when it scanned the file at the end of the download.

I just ran an On Demand scan on the SpyBot installation file and got the same error.

    Hi verktyg,

There's something particular to your setup that's contributing to the issue as there have been no other reports of this happening.

You might run a SysInspector scan and open a case with Support. When they send you that initial auto generated response, reply to it with the log attached and a link to this thread.

Thanks for the suggestion but SysInspector only works Win2k and later NT based OSs.

    Hi,

I apologize, I didn't consider an earlier OS.

    I've sent you a PM.
