I am wondering how do NOD32 update username and passwords geting leaked?
people with big mouths and no morals?
Seriously - I don't know - but one scenario is a disgruntled network admin - someone with access to the u/p who leaves a company on bad terms - users who purchase one and "share" it - an unscrupulous "repair" tech - the list of ways that a genuine u/p can get "leaked" is pretty endless.
As Eset has control over which username and/or password work for updates, reporting "leaked" ones to Eset should get them shut down and traced back to the original owner.
