Hello, I have noticed that my NOD32 has not updated since August 30. Its still on 2493 and eset web says it should be 2498. I have never had any problems with update before. I have had NOD32 since March. When I click update, status says downloading. Its said that for a while now. I click abort update and nothing happens. I restarted the computer and same thing. Stuck on 2493 and just says downloading in the update status. Any ideas?? I have vista ultimate. Thanks
Hi there, please try downloading a FRESH copy of NOD32, uninstalling and then reinstalling, as per the instructions located HERE Cheers
Thanks Blackspear for your suggestion. I uninstalled, downloaded a fresh 2.70.39 and now the update is stuck on signature update 2257. I check the event log and it says update attempt failed (server connection failure). Im totally stumped, as NOD32 updated flawlessly for 6 months. My internet is working great. All other programs that require updating are having no problems. Could this be a NOD32 server problem?

Well I finally got NOD32 updated to v2500. It had something to do with pctools firewall. I also installed pctools firewall in march and have had no problems with it. I did however install their new beta v3 but did vista did not like, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled v2. Worked fine I thought. NOD32 updated normally after reinstalling pctools firewall 2 untill It did a smart update on august 31, the same day NOD32 stopped updated. Oh well, back to windows vista firewall for now. Atleast NOD32 seems to working great! Thanks guys for your help. Fosl
