    Hi there,

when you deactivate AMON or unload AMON, the NOD32 Control Center systray Icon inform me, that this is so and warns me.

But when I deactivate IMON or unload IMON, the systray Icon don't tell me any information about the disabled or unload IMON module!!

And some little miss, at the red section, there is 'Modul' at Internetfilter missing :D :

    Hi,

    >when you deactivate AMON or unload AMON, the NOD32 Control Center systray Icon inform me, that this is so and warns me.
But when I deactivate IMON or unload IMON, the systray Icon don't tell me any information about the disabled or unload IMON module!!

    The reason:

    - with AMON on, IMON off is the system protected against attacks from the Internet, network, local disk, floppy,...
    - with AMON off, IMON on is the system protected against attacks from the incoming mail

In other words: AMON is more important for the complex system protection than IMON.

    >And some little miss, at the red section, there is 'Modul' at Internetfilter missing

This is the way we named it - we might consider changing it.

    Cheers, :)

    Hi jan,

I'm now a little bit confuse...

The new Internetfilter component protect you even when IMON is disabled? o_O
I thought IMON is now for wurms, scripts and so on over the windows socket and AMON is for files...but when I'm wrong, IMON is ONLY for EMAIL??
Is the socket scanner included in AMON??

So when I don't use Email proggz like Outlook Express, then I can disable IMON and deactivate them from the windows socket connection?

    thx

    bye
