NOD32 Signature Search Engine, CLOSED FOR GOOD???

    It appears to be gone. This is not an Eset or NOD32 issue however. The official location for NOD32 updates is located here.

    thought so.
    maybe he couldnt afford the bandwidth
    he did say once before it was closed for good but came back.

    I've never used this 'service' so I have no idea how useful it was.

    However, anyone that wants/needs a backup for the 'update alerts' thread here at Wilders can subscribe to an email notification service run by the UK reseller;https://secure.eset.co.uk/forms/threatalerts.asp

    he service had a bit where you could search the nod32 databases to see whyat threats it defends against.
    thats why its called signiture search engine or rather was...
    also it had a feature where you could see what nod32 servers where running and how well very useful.

    I can see that that might be more useful than an email listing details of the time, date and contents of every update, with information about the email viruses that are currently most active.
