NOD32 Refuses to Clean instead of Scan

Hi,

Windows Vista x64 SP1 running NOD32 3.0.621.0, and I can't get NOD32 to clean instead of just scan on clicking "Scan with NOD32" from the right-click context menu.

The "context menu scan" profile option in Advanced Setup is set to the middle, which should supposedly attempt to clean automagically, and failing that, prompt me for instructions.

However, I can't get it to do that! Instead it just gives me a list of infected files, and I can't get the cleaned that way.. Even right-clicking an entry in that list and pressing "Clean" doesn't do anything!

Any advice, please?

I noticed you are using an older version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus. Have you tried upgrading to v3.0.650.0? If so, did that resolve the problem?

Did you select Advanced options - Clean files from the context menu?

 

I have some issue before.
But the issue was solved by upgrading to a new version.

 

@agoretsky: Yeah, I noticed that to and upgraded the latest.

@Marcos: No.. I actually hadn't seen that option (was it there in the old one?). At any rate, that doesn't explain why right-clicking an infection in the scanned list and choosing "clean" doesn't work.
