We've moved our Help Desk to Scriptlogic's Help Desk Authority. I've found that I am only able to email from that application if my Outlook is closed. I suspect that it's the NOD32 Email Client Protection, but I don't see where it's possible to allow a program to send mail. (The purpose of emailing from within the application is it tracks correspondence without me having to remember to copy and paste.)

    I've set in exceptions: C:\Program Files (x86)\ScriptLogic\HDAuthority\HDAuthority.exe

User Access Control has been turned off.

    Any suggestions?

EAV does not block outgoing emails. Does disabling email protection or integration with Outlook actually make a difference?

I tried disabling the whole NOD32 protection, and there was no difference. I rebooted several times, and it seems to be working now (with NOD32 enabled.)

I'm going to suggest closing this thread. It doesn't look like I have that option...
