Having had notification the my NOD was about to expire, I applied for a 3 year licence. I followed the instructions to the letter - but the original one seems to have expired because it will not download updates for the last 7 days.
I have contacted esset with my problem - receipt & password/code, they suggested another uninstall - removing all previous files from Explorer.
This I did - I have checked no proxies and other possibilities - but still no update.

I have sent two other emails - but no reply to them. ....I was wondering if the new codes were no good?

Could anyone suggest something I might have missed?

    many thanks - Arnica

Which one are you actually asking about?

Your new licence is valid immediately - you do not need to wait for the expiry date of your old one first.

One way you could get an indication of the validity of your new NOD32 username and password would be to try and download a fresh copy of the full NOD32 you have a licence for from -->THIS<-- page

If that works, your licence should be fine, but I would definately recommend you start working with your new username and password as soon as it is received.

Also, did you actually purchase your renewal through ESET or a reseller?

    Cheers :)

agreed - as soon as your new username and password are received, you should enter them in place of the old ones for a seamless transition from old to new license.

    Re: NOD32 not updating - solved - Ad-Watch

The man from NOD contacted me - remotely took over my computer - after about 20 minutes - discovered that the problem was with Ad-Watch!!!

Disabled and removed - now no problem.

Top class service for a top class product - thanks to all who replied.
