    I have a scheduler task in Nod32 that downloads new signature files every night. This has been running very well for the 2+ years I've had NOD32. However, the other week, the program stopped downloading new signatures every night. I'm not sure what happened. Does the scheduler require some Windows service to run that might have been accidentally turned off?

    Thank you

    Hi there, welcome to Wilders.

    Could it be that your license has expired?

    Cheers :D

    Is your subscription still valid?Is program running back ground service?Is user name and password still there ? try delete schedule task and re schedule or default schedules.may have to remove and reinstall a fresh copy.

    No, my license hasn't expired. I can still manually update the signature (by clicking the "update now" button), and it downloads the signature just fine. Also, I tried deleting the scheduled task and recreating it without any luck.

    Thank you.

    Reinstall NOD32 ;)

    1) Download the latest fresh version of NOD32 v 2.7 for your operating system
    Full paid version

    2) Open Control Panel-> Add/Remove programs and Uninstall NOD32

    3) Reboot when prompt

    4) After restart , go to C:\Program files and manually delete the folder ESET

    5) Install NOD32 from the file you downloaded in step 1
    Use "Typical" install

    6) Make sure you have stable internet connection and NOD32 (nod32krn.exe) is allowed to go through your firewall . Then Update NOD32 !

    I spoke to soon. The update downloaded automagically tonight. So, hopefully it will continue doing so. If not, I will try the uninstall/reinstall solution.

    Thank you all!
