NOD32 was ranked in the category Highly recommended in the test STO and Triple-s made. Why nod32 was recommended was simpily that its so fast in scanning and take almost nothing in cpu usage, detection was pritty good and the awards from Vbullitin improved it. and ofcourse the unprecedented heuristic analysis that makes Eset's nod32 special.

Also following Anti virus was in the same category
    1.Excellent AV (Highly recommended)
    Kaspersky(AVP)Anti-virus
    Pandasoftware(Panda) Anti-virus
    Network Associates(McAfee) Anti-virus
    Eset(NOD32) Anti-virus
    Frisk(F-Prot) Anti-virus

The test results is on this url: http://www.bbfree.com/javs/index.php?showtopic=50&st=0&#entry299

That test is no more credible or valid than the tests by AV-Test.org GmbH.

Without full disclosure of the viruses used and the methodology employed, no anti-virus test is worthy of discussion.
