Re: Beta test version of NOD32 Remote Administrator v1.0.11 released

I was on eset.sk/en and was looking at NOD32 and NOD32 lite... What is the difference? Thanks in advance for your help.

From what I understand the Lite version is the "Standard Edition" where as the other version has the Mirror aka the Professional version.

    Cheers :D

How to verify whether one is using "Standard" or "Professional"?

Professional has a Mirror above "update" in the Control Centre, and your license would say "peer to peer".

    Cheers :D

    Hello,

I was interested to read of the "Lite" and "Pro" versions of NOD32. When I checked my version I found (going by Blackspear's definition) that I'm running the standard version.

Is there any benefit to be gained by upgrading to the Pro version, if that is possible? What is the price in AUD to do so?

    Regards,
    Diddles

PS Are you looking forward to drinking recycled water, Blackspear? :)

Only the mirroring feature, this requires a 2 user license or more.

LOL oh well it will come if we like it or not  ;) :D

    Cheers :D

NOD32 Lite version is sold in Slovakia. Unlike the Standard version, the customer does not receive a box with a CD and manual.

I am not staying in Slovakia, I bought my NOD32 online & received a copy of software electronically (without the box,CD & manual).

Does it consider as Lite or Standard Version?

The name is just different , the software is absolutely the same . This is ESET - equal protection in all versions - standart , lite , enterprise , etc ... :)

Just in Slovakia they call Lite version when purchased online and Standart when it has a box and a CD with it

As already said by BS , Professional edition (in Bulgaria we call it Administrator version) contains option for creating Mirrors
