    Hi,
    ZoneLabs has just released a new build of ZoneAlarm Pro (5.5.094), and I installed it over the old one, but now, the IM Security component is permanently disabled. When I try to enable it, it tells me that there is an LSP conflict and to check %WinDiR%\Internet Logs\Lspconflict.txt

    --> Upon opening the file I see:
    {28A4D8DA-E908-4C6F-A926-A66CC7AD3224} (NOD32)

    --> I am using the latest beta... (2.50.7)
    ----> IMON component is enabled.

    ---> NOTE: I have tried the "Repair Now" in IMON and restarted but I still cannot enable IM security.

    Is there a fix or something for this issue...??

    this is the zonealarm suit that includes ZA aV. If u havd enabled ZA antivirus, sure it conflicts with NOD32.

    Yes, I have ZoneAlarm Security Suite (sorry about the confusion..), but I disabled the antivirus component before upgrading... and it has always been disabled when NOD32 is running.. (I stopped enabling it after I found out about NOD32's good capabilities and speed)..

    This error appears when I try to enable IM security, was working before upgrade, after ZA upgrade it turns itself off and gives me this error when I try to enable...

    Hi D10_Omega, welcome to Wilders.

    Have you tried asking this question in the ZoneAlarm Forum? As this conflict after the update may be a known issue.

    Hope this helps...

    Let us know how you go.

    Cheers :D

    IM Security

    Hey, I was wondering if anyone is familiar with Instant Messaging Management or security. I heard that a lot of viruses and worms are attacking computers through IM software. How can one protect himself or his organization against these stuff?
