Well, I tried 15,000 email programmes, and I'm back to Eudora, and now I'm using NOD32 with it.

Does anyone here know if there is a good Eudora forum?

    Thanks. :D

I am currently having trouble with running Nod32 and Eudora
at the same time. Slows or deadlocks Eudora when you have
    multiple personalities.

I experience lockouts on my machine with 15 personalities - perhaps eset can advise why this is.

If you go to the AMON setup and exclude the eudora.ini file under
exclusions, you may see a dramitic speedup. I serached for months
trying to figure out why Eudora would hang with checking email
with many personalities. Eudora checks the ini file many times, so
excluding it in AMON will improve things.

Which makes me wonder, is there a way to capture statistics or log
what NOD32 amon is checking while running? With the log one could
determine and remove repeated unneeded checks that slow the system
    down.

I would love to know which Eudora.ini file it keeps scanning - I've searched my PC with every option I can think of - added 2 x Eudora.ini files and 1 x DEudora.ini file to the Amon exclusions, yet I still see Amon scanning SOME file called Eudora.ini every time my email program wants to check email (and hanging the PC for a second or so)... it's getting a little tedious now I know I can prevent it (if I can find it)....

eudora.ini is usually in the same directory as the top level *.mbx files.
